안녕하십니까?
러시아의 우크라이나 침공, 미중 대립, 일본의 경제적 안보위협, 북한의 미사일 발사 등의 국내외 외교안보 환경이 변화하고 있는 시점에서 우리의 국방력과 방위산업의 역량강화가 어느 때보다도 중요해지고 있습니다.
또한, 대한민국의 국방기술력 강화에 힘입어 세계무기 시장 경쟁력을 갖추면서 K-방산의 위상이 유례없이 높아지고 있습니다. 이런 변화상황에서 대한민국 군사력 강화와 함께 국가경제 성장을 견인할 수 있는 방위산업의 발전에 필요한 정책방향 수립과 투자가 요구됩니다.
이런 시점에 필요한 발전방향과 실행방안을 학술적•이론적 측면에서 모색하기 위해 국내 군사학 분야의 대표 교육기관인 경남대학교, 조선대학교, 광운대학교가 연합하여 융합학술대회를 개최하고자 합니다.

The journal publishes online and printing version with a frequency of three issues and 1 volume per year (April, August, December) by Institue of defence acquisition program (IDAP) in Kwangwoon university.
All articles published by the Journal of Advances in Military Studies are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication without subscription charges or registration. Authors will retain copyright through signing the Copyright Transfer Statement during submission process. They are encouraged to submit the author's version of the accepted paper (the unedited manuscript) to be made openly available after the self-archiving.

Aim
Journal of Advances in Military Studies publishes all fields of defense and military related papers such as defense and military management, policy, and systems.
The published papers should have theoretical, practical, and policy value. Journal of Advanced in Military Studies is to achieve academic development and revitalization in the field of defense and military studies by providing platform to experts to present their research results and by offering readers opportunity to read the most recent research issues.
Scope
Journal of Advances in Military Studies covers a variety of topics in defense and military studies such as Military and defense R&D, policies of defense industry, efficiency of military organization, acquisition policy of weapons systems, cost analysis of acquisition program, defense budget, simulation and modeling among others.
Publication Frequency
The journal publishes online and printing version with a frequency of three issues and 1 volume per year (April, August, December) by Institue of defence acquisition program (IDAP) in Kwangwoon university.
IDAP is pursuing academic and practical study in the filed of the humanities and social sciences as the Priority Research Centers Program supported by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
Accepted articles will be immediately published and are always free to access, download and reuse (Available 2018-current).
The journal covers all areas of defense and military related issues and includes convergence study which combines defense and military technology and military policies.

본 일반 학술지는 2018년 8월 31일(창간호)를 기점으로 연간 3회(4월 30일, 8월 31일, 12월 31일) 발간될 예정입니다.
